Among the many things I outlined in my site map as areas of opportunities for visual and user improvement, the homepage was the standout clear place to refresh first. I broke down the homepage element by element to be able to redesign the home page based on priority both for our designer and dev team. Read moreUp above is the phase one the updated navigation bar of the desktop menu on the BlendJet homepage. As art director I led the initiative to update the navigation bar and oversaw the lead designer through giving feedback and instructions that led to the final result.
Improving our navigation system on the site fo both mobile and desktop was one of my first priorities following the site map I had made.
