Role: Senior Graphic Designer

Astronomer is a global remote-first company dedicated to be the driving force behind Apache Airflow, a python-based data orchestration platform that expresses data flows as code. My role as senior graphic designer was to establish and develop a look and feel for the Astronomer brand across multiple platforms, this includes the site, social and in-person events.

A series of different motion graphics Ids I made for different parts of Astronomer and their content, this was done in After Effects. In order there is a general opening for wide-range use for their video content, Astronomer Webinars, mainly used to promote upcoming webinars hosted by Astronomer covering different aspects of Apache Airflow, Live with Astronomer which ironically was used for after livestreams were done and reuploaded, and a general outro.

Event Work

As senior designer I was tasked with creating a unique sub brand look for each event to give them a distinguish look.
The design assets ranged from in-person signage and banners, to LinkedIn posts, to internal comms.

Astronomer Events
Spring Summit 2022

Astronomer’s Spring Summit is an annual company offsite for the global remote-first company to gather in one location and meet their teammates. It is a multi-day event that featured several presentations, panels, and workshops.

Astro Days

Astro Days is a series of in-person events hosted by Astronomer focused on Modern Data Orchestration.

Hack Week

As the name suggests, Astronomer Hack Week Winter 2022 was an internal-only hackathon held within the company to help tackle some of the most pressing challenges Astronomer was facing and to inspire innovation.
