In addition to my contributions to the site design and the event’s look and feel. I was also tasked with keeping the speaker’s decks in line with a previously established template. I’m no stranger to the usual challenges of working with a speaker to streamline their content and simplify the story so that it can reach a general audience.
Near the end of the event I was tasked with creating the PKO Awards deck that celebrated standout individuals in the company and later post-event I paired with our user-experience researcher on the team to create an PKO event impact assessment to share company leadership how successful the event was against company goals.
Speaker decks
Below are a sample of the slides I worked with senior leadership among the company for their presentations at PKO, most text has been converted to lorem ipsum to respect NDA.
PKO Awards deck
Towards the end of PKO I was tasked with creating the awards deck celebrating stand-out individuals, the goal was to use mimic the site layout’s bold colors and energy with shape usage to make the a virtual awards ceremony as exciting as possible. The challenge was to use the PKO design language established
in the PKO site and using shapes so that each award felt unique when it was being presented in the
closing ceremony.
PKO Impact Assessment
After the event I was paired with our user experience researcher on the team to design and share out a deck that detailed PKO’s successes and areas of improvement with senior leadership. Any sensitive information has been switched to lorem ipsum in respect to NDA.
